its just like that!!

Its Friday,22nd of July 2011,the time is 2:18am. I know it is too late for me to stay awake until this time because it will negatively affected me and I will start blaming myself for not waking up early the following day and enjoying the beauty of the morning , even if I have nothing to do , waking up early makes me feel like …….. oh my god , have you noticed how long was my previous sentence?

Actually it is not easy to blog in English and I hate it when I wrote long sentences , it gives me a feeling that my writing is just like a kid in an elementary school who just starts to learn English . anyway I don’t want to frustrated myself anymore, it is over and am sure that I can reach the level of writing that I wish soon.

Being a jobless for long time causes you crazy . actually some kind of craziness is cooool , especially when you try each night to learn dancing in front of the mirror ,and keep on trying until you shocked that it's too late and you have to sleep .

Why am I blogging in English today?

I am a passion of English , I adore it , I always enjoy to write in English and recently I have built a habit of reading in English too. I think this is one advantage of being a jobless l0000000l!

I sent text message to my friend saying "I am happy. It's just like that, I have a huge energy and power, I want to learn everything, I can enjoy and feel the beauty of what Allah has given me of endowments , it's just like that, am happy" it may seem a crazy attitude to sent to your friend such a message like that at 2 am , but I like doing that, it is very nice and funny to be a crazy sometimes(:

I don’t know what to say but I can't ignore at all my poor English in writing though am sure I can do better than this…

I was thinking to make coming year " A YEAR OF ENGLISH WRITING AND READING", means that am planning to read about 50 books in English in many aspects , self of development ,science, novels, history ..etc .so I should start collecting books and borrowing it from now , so please guys who are reading this now and laughing at my English if you have books which are deserved to be read in English lend it to me ,and don’t worry I will return it to you exactly the same as you give it to me and at a fixed day !( again loooong sentence).after reading each book I will write short summary about it just to practice writing in English and I will publish it here .. what do you think about it ? is it a worth idea to be applied?

That’s all for today , wish I can write something else soon .

  2. Salam Rahamah,
I guess we are in the same boat here!
I always ask myself what is it in English that really attracts me (both to read or to write)?!! I've been thinking about this a lot and I came up with some possible answers. ummmm one of them - may be the closer to the truth- is that at one point of my life - exactly when I realised that my reading was (still is I'm afraid!) very poor. Most of the things I was reading were stuff from the curriculum. It was only to fill in a paper exam. So I thought of hitting two birds with one stone;that is, to read (free reading) and to learn English. Therefore, I almost quit reading in Arabic (which was a very big mistake I made!) and I started reading and writing in English "heavily", and probably that's why I am into English a lot. I should admit that it added to me a great deal. It contributed in shaping who I am now. Thanks to God who provided me with chances and good friends who made it easy to get along.
Any way, I just thought of sharing this since we both have the same concern.
So with regard to the books you are asking about, here is a list of the books that I really enjoyed and which I highly recommend. Most of my reading is reading novels and a little bit of self development kind of books. Here is the list:
    NOVELS:
1- Jane Eyre (My favourite ever!)d
    2- Great Expectations
    3- Oliver Twist
    4- The Da Vinci Code
    5- The Alchemist
6- By the River Piedra I Sat Down and Wept
    7- The Zahir
    OTHER (mostly in self development)d
1- The Seven Habits Of Highly Effective People
    2- Life without limits
    3- The tipping point
    4- Blink
5- How to win friends and influence people

,I will be happy to help you out with this :)
so don't hesitate to ask me
    Happy reading!
